Happiness should not be co-dependent on a lovers touch or another's trust. When you relate happiness to someone or something there is a chance that it can grow dysfunctional, co-dependent in ways that makes you forget your own path and instead serve another's needs. If good people treated themselves as well as they treat others, happiness would likely be bolder all around. You see love can only grow for those who believe and know what they want so to pursue it with dedication and patience. Real love is not for those who do not use words or express truth because fear is stronger. It is time to adult up. Put noise cancellation ear phones over your heart and listen to only your instinct as a guide. 

There is so much noise in the world, so much confusion and illusion; but your focus is stronger if you trust it. No more waiting for salvation or deciphering weak communications. Don’t compromise on the prize and deservingly ask for what it is that you give in return. Now is the time for you to burn bright and move into the spotlight of your adult life. There is no time like the present to take control of yourself and live freedom. If you don't dare to try things beyond what you know, imagine all the things you won't know.
