I would rather be true to myself, than adhere to make it look like I belong in a foreign place. The value of me being myself far surpasses my need to please others, or even fit into any social space. If you cannot see the value in my empathy and creativity, I have no need to convince you of anything else. I only long to be part of ventures that create accepting, respectful places. I have worked too hard to be second best. I am divine, nothing less.
